We feel pretty confident that our current abode on Page Street in the Lower Haight, SF is some form of electro-magnetic dead zone. We have arrived at this theory folowing a progression of increasingly improbable connectivity failures.

First, we could not get our Internet to work for more than 30 minutes.

Second, despite having an Airport Express plugged in right next to the computer, we could neither connect to nor find the device.

Third, even with a crossover cable, we could not link up two computers.

As a consequence, we have renamed our thumb drive “email” and hurl it across the room to simulate gmail’s high speeds.

Yours, etc.
